Meet Kayla S. : A ’12 FACES Model

Kayla came to us from Hempfield to be a FACES model this year.   We had a great time testing out our new background with Kayla’s Steeler gear!  Also, we loved her new tattoo!  Ask Kayla how she made a senior memory at ballash.s Photography!

Meet Jessica: A ’12 FACES Model

SARAH + NICK {married}

After one rainy week we had here in Pennsylvania, the rain finally decided to leave beautiful weather for such a perfect wedding day!  It’s always such an honor to get to take part in such important moments in the lives of such special people!  We wanted to share some of the images we took of the day.  Enjoy, and congrats Sarah and Nick Waterhouse!   

DAHS {9/11 assembly}

Isn’t it funny how we can’t quite remember what we did a few days ago but, we can remember where we were ten years ago on this tragic day in our history.  Friday, we went to Derry Area High School to watch Nathan’s Senior Project video.  It was really neat to watch the video about September 11^th all these years later.  In addition to playing his video they had State Senator Kim Ward, State Representative Joseph Petrarca, and mayor of Derry Susan Bortz all give their thoughts of remembrance.  

Sarah + Nick {engaged}

Sarah + Nick are engaged!  We were given the pleasure of shooting their engagement session in a peaceful and beautiful field.  It was a lot of fun!  We are excitedly looking forward to shooting their wedding this weekend!

Vanacore {maternity}

Our very close friends Matt & Melissa Vanacore are expecting their first born soon!  After surprising them at the baby shower in Philadelphia, we did a maternity shoot with them.   Who says you can’t pack up your studio equipment and take it across the other side of the state for some great pictures in a hotel room?!?  We couldn’t be more excited for them and can’t wait to meet their bundle of joy soon!
